Fly boys, fly (Kimi wo wasurenai)

A rather unknown movie about a group of six young Japanese pilots who are recruited to train as kamikaze pilots. There is no dogfight action in this movie, it is all about the time of training and the complications that arise during this period. Conflicts within the group, drama, fights, girls… at times a bit cheesy but it is an interesting topic and there are some touching moments. Still probably not the worlds finest movie.. 😉

The Japanese DVD has no english subtitles and I do not think this movie has been released in any other country on DVD (yet?). Only the old Hong Kong Laserdisc release is subtitled.
